Safety Briefing | Get to Know the Flags | Waiver Forms This Information for Birel High Performance Karts Only

Willy D's Indoor Kart Racing wants to ensure that you not only have a fun and thrilling experience on our go-karts, but a SAFE one as well. Following is a list of our track rules and safety information. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the rules, flags and caution lights. Anyone that does not abide by the rules of the track will not be allowed to race. - Willy D's requires all drivers to have a valid state driver's license and be a minimum of 16 years of age with a parents consent. Drivers 18 and above do not require parental consent.
- All driver's must sign a liability waiver before racing.
- Prior to racing, each driver will be given a lesson on the proper safety procedures and some helpful hints on how to drive these high performance go-karts.
- No one under the influence of alcoholic beverages or any other controlled substance will be permitted to drive.
- No driver's will be permitted to ride the karts barefoot or wear sandals or open-toed shoes.
- All drivers must wear a helmet and neck brace. Willy D's provides the racing helmets, head sock/liners (for one time purchase of $3) and neck braces. Note: If you have your own full face shield helmet and it is DOT approved, you can use that in lieu of the provided helmets.
- Enter and exit the go-kart from the right side. Please let a member of our track crew handle any issues with the engine.
- Keep both hands on the wheel at all times unless you are raising your hand for the caution. Use one pedal at a time. Keep your feet square on the pedals, this will make it easier to avoid riding the brake.
- Stay in your go-kart. If you spin out or get stuck up against the wall, do not get out of your go-kart. Raise your hand and a flagman will come and help you. Please do not try rolling the go-kart back or pushing off the wall, this is unsafe.
- The staff at Willy D's takes safety very seriously and any drivers who are displaying reckless and/or unsafe driving practices will be removed from the track.
Thank you for racing at Willy D's...we hope you have a great time!!!
